Search is a great place to get started in the GWI platform. Simply head to the top left corner of the platform, and enter your desired search term in the bar:
From here, you will then return results from all of the survey data available in your account, even custom studies β pretty neat, huh? By default, the search functionality scans across all surveys and datasets available to you, ensuring a broad range of results. You can also use filters to customize your search and focus on specific datasets such as GWI Core.
Customizing Your GWI Search
To refine your search and focus on specific datasets, such as GWI Core, follow these steps:
Access the Search Function: Navigate to the search bar within the GWI platform.
Open the Datasets Dropdown: Locate the "Dataset filter/dropdown" in the search interface.
Select Your Desired Dataset: From the dropdown menu, choose "GWI Core" or any other dataset you wish to focus on.
Apply the Filter: Confirm your selection to activate the dataset filter. Once applied, the search results will be restricted to attributes from the selected dataset(s).
Semantic search
Not sure what you're looking for? No worries! Our smart, semantic search will be your guide. There's no need to type in 'exactly' what you need verbatim, the platform can help you out.

Why can't I add directly from search to a new crosstab?
You can easily search across datasets in the Crosstabs using the attributes browser.
β
βCan I add more than one question to my chart, audience, or dashboard from search?
No. You can select any combination of attributes, but they must be from a single question.
Can I add an attribute or question to my existing chart, audience, or dashboard?
Not at the moment, you can only add attributes to new charts, audiences, or dashboards. We're looking to add greater functionality to search in the future.
