Who can access GWI Canvas?
GWI Canvas is available to all user plans – Free, Plus, Teams and Pro!
What data sets is Canvas available for?
Canvas is available for GWI Core and GWI USA datasets.
Teams and Pro subscribers can choose between the two using the dataset picker. When creating a report, use the dataset picker in 'Step 2: Audiences' to choose which dataset you’d like to use. Your selected dataset will then be used to build your audience and generate insights throughout the report.
Free and Plus users' reports default to GWI Core only.
What’s included in Canvas for Free and Plus Plans?
Both Free and Plus users have unlimited access to GWI Canvas, including unlimited deck creation and full color customization. Free users can export decks as PDFs with a GWI watermark, while Plus users can export without the watermark and also save decks to revisit later.
Free users can unlock these additional Plus features at any time by upgrading their plan directly within the platform.

Can I see what a report will look like before I build it?
Yes! You can preview what a report will look like for each goal type. Simply hover over any available goal in Step 1 of the Canvas setup and click 'Preview' to see the report structure and visuals before building.
Can I save reports?
Only Plus, Teams and Pro users will have the ability to save reports. Any reports created are automatically saved by the platform and can be accessed at any time from the Management page. From there, you can edit, rename, or delete your saved reports as needed.
Is it possible to change waves and locations?
The report currently defaults to the last four waves and includes data for our 50+ global markets.
How can I customize the slide colors?
Click the 'Colors' button in the top-right corner of the screen once your report has loaded. From there, you can adjust the colors for audiences, backgrounds, and text. The built-in colour picker also lets you switch between the input formats RGB, HSL, or HEX. Color customization in reports is only available to Pro, Teams, and Plus users.
How are the insights generated?
The insights are generated using GWI Spark AI. You have the flexibility to modify the text directly within the slides and change it into your own tone of voice.
Why is the export button greyed out?
The export button will become deactivated whilst we work on creating your export. This prevents us from generating too many.
What export formats are available?
To export the full report, click 'Export PDF' in the top right-hand corner.
To export an individual Canvas slide:
Hover over any slide with a chart.
Click the three dots in the top-right corner.
Select 'Export' to download it as a PNG or PPTX file.
