GWI Core respondents are asked about professional decisions they are responsible for making in their work environment. Based on respondents’ answers to these questions, in Q2 2017 we introduced the Decision Making Power Segmentation.


Work areas of responsibility question

We ask respondents the following question:

Do you have responsibility for any of the following?

  • Direct reports / team management

  • General management

  • HR / Training / Office support

  • Managing budgets

  • Purchasing of IT, telecoms or technology products and services

  • None of the above


Segments

Each segment includes respondents who selected any of the listed options. Note that these groups are not mutually exclusive, and respondents may belong to multiple segments.
